Apple Accessibility with Beyond Vision is a specialized initiative focused on exploring and utilizing Apple's cutting-edge accessibility features and products to empower individuals with vision loss. This program highlights the extensive range of tools and technologies available through Apple devices, such as iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple Watches, that enhance usability and independence for the visually impaired community.

Game Time - Online
Join us on Tuesdays for an exciting Game Day Peer Group. Each week we play a virtual version of a classic game. We have a variety of games: Jeopardy, Trivia, Name that Tune, Celebrity Guess Who, Hangman, and many more. Some are individual games and some are set up in teams, with a small prize mailed to the winners. This group is for teens and adults with disabilities.

Movement and Mindfulness: In-person & Online
Come join our Movement and Mindfulness class for an hour of pure relaxation and joy! You can participate online through Google Meets or in-person at the CPWD Boulder Office.

Do you want to meet some people around your age that are also trying to live an independent life? Come to the Center for People With Disabilities' Youth Peer Group! Open to ages 17-24.
This group will be an opportunity to meet peers with the same goal... to be independent. You will get the chance to learn from others' experiences, share your experiences, and learn more about independence.

Please join CPWD for a support group on the topic of mental health and wellness for individuals experiencing vision loss. Beth Gustin will lead discussions on mental health during the pandemic, coping strategies and available resources for individuals with low vision. Beth is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has been working in the mental health field for 15 years.

CPWD’s Peer Groups offer opportunities for social networking and making connections with others. Insightful Connections with Beyond Vision is a supportive and empowering peer group for individuals with vision loss. This group offers a safe and welcoming space for members to share experiences, exchange practical tips, and provide emotional support to one another. Led by facilitators who understand the unique challenges faced by the blind community, Insightful Connections focuses on fostering a sense of community and belonging.

No Light Perception Peer Support Group with Beyond Vision
The No Light Perception(NLP) Group is a peer support group for those people who have little to no vision. Topics in this peer support group will be directed towards Independent Living with either minimal to no light perception in residual vision, completely blind, progressive eye disease that will result in blindness and those individuals who have experienced sudden vision loss that has resulted in blindness. Join us to learn how to adapt to these changes, become a peer, support and learn from each other.
